Belong to avalues-ledcommunity
You may already feel connected to the Templer Community through volunteering, attending events or taking part in community life.
Becoming a member is a way to make that sense of belonging more intentional — to share in our values, contribute to the life of the community and help shape its future.
Membership is a personal step, where people of all ages find meaning, continuity and a place to belong.
Whether you have grown up within the Templer Community or are discovering us for the first time, membership is an invitation to participate and connect.
Membership is a conscious choice
Who can become a member
Membership is open to anyone aged 16 years or older who feels a connection with our values and beliefs.
It is an expression of belonging and alignment with our values, allowing each person to participate in ways that feel right for them. You do not need a family connection to join.
There is no single expectation of how members participate — involvement takes many forms, and each member’s contribution is valued. Our community brings together people from diverse walks of life and stages of faith, all united by a shared commitment to our aim.
Members engage in Templer life in ways that are meaningful to them. This may include:
attending faith services and community gatherings
volunteering at events or through community initiatives
supporting cultural or social activities
sharing skills, time or experience
having a voice in governance and decision-making

Members participate in different ways and at different times of life. Involvement may grow, change or remain quiet — all are valid.
You’re very welcome to attend, participate and get to know our community without any obligation to join as membership is a conscious choice made in your own time.
Membership is open to anyone aged 16 or over who feels aligned with our values and beliefs. Many members have long, multi-generational connections to the Temple Society, but this is not required to join.
Annual member contributions support the spiritual, administrative and community life of the Temple Society Australia.
People from any religious background, as well as those with no religious affiliation, are welcome. The Temple Society has no formal creed or dogma, and membership is based on shared values and a commitment to living faith through everyday actions, rather than adherence to prescribed beliefs.
