WE ARE A UNIQUE FAITH COMMUNITY
A single statement of faith defines us
We are a welcoming Christian-based faith community with a remarkable 160+ year history that spans three continents. Our story – one of migration, resettlement, resilience and the strength of community – is built on a single, yet powerful, statement of faith: “Love God with all your being and love your neighbour as yourself.”

Our values define us
Community is at the heart of everything we do
Living our values
Our faith comes to life through the way we treat one another. Grounded in trust, acceptance and respect, we practise a faith that shows up in everyday actions, genuine care and the way we choose to live in community.
Caring for others
We look out for those around us through our foodbank, welfare support and practical help when it’s needed most. Caring for others is part of who we are. Whether it’s a food parcel, a welfare check-in or a quiet word of support, we show up for one another in practical, meaningful ways.
Celebrating community
We come together often, sharing traditions, festivals and everyday moments that connect us. From Sommerfest — our biggest festival of the year — to Oktoberfest, family fun days, community lunches, working bees and simple cuppas after service, these shared experiences help us stay connected.

“
"In a world that often feels unsettled and fast-paced, having real connections and feeling like you belong matters more than ever. The Temple Society has given me that all my life. I’m truly grateful and proud to be part of such a caring, down-to-earth community that offers what people need most today.”
