Do your little bit of good where you are; it's those little bits of good put together that overwhelm the world. Desmond Tutu
Where would be without each other? A strong community provides a sense of belonging for people and a network of care that, by looking after the individual, builds a stable and supportive society. Our founding belief is that Christianity, and putting in practice Jesus’ teachings, is best achieved by a community of people.
Along with our welfare initiatives, we also hold a range of activities throughout the year for our community to make connections, build friendships and contribute to the wellbeing of others.
Most charity and community organisations rely heavily on volunteers. They are community in action.
Our volunteers are the glue that holds our community together. They are our most important resource and enable us to get things done while addressing the needs of the community. Our volunteers can mentor young people, fundraise, care for the aged or work at religious and community events.
