There is an experienced Community Care Worker onsite offering a range of practical assistance including budgeting advice and referral to local services. There is a computer with internet access available to search for job opportunities and to access information that may assist you.
Our Community Care Worker can stand alongside you and speak out on your behalf when dealing with agencies or businesses. We can offer you support and encouragement to exercise your rights and, in some instances, speak, act or write on your behalf to help to resolve an issue.
Our Community Care Worker can offer you practical assistance in reducing your expenses, saving money and creating a personalised budget, using MoneyMinded training. If you are having trouble paying your bills, we can assist you to arrange a payment plan with your debtors, find your “spending leaks” and look at other potentially money-saving ideas.
Come along and use our computer to look for work or update your resume. Our Community Care Worker can assist you with this process if you need.
Do you require an aged care assessment, counselling or service information? Our Community Care Worker has a range of useful information to pass on and is able to refer you to an agency that may be able to help with some more specific issues you may have.
Need to learn some basics in using a computer, come and visit us and we can take you through some easy online lessons.
